Health Literacy Grant Winners Announced

In continuing efforts to improve health literacy, the Partnership for Clear Health Communication and Pfizer Inc, a founding member of the Partnership, has distributed three grants. The one-year, $70,000 research grants will focus on the use of Ask Me 3 in a variety of clinical settings. The Grant Review Committee, comprised of national health literacy experts, reviewed and selected three grant winners from among twenty-five submissions. Each project is scheduled to begin in August 2004 with a final report presented one-year from then. Congratulations to the grant recipients:
